Cheap Perfume

Thursday is here.  Ahh, the day of thrills.  I love thrills.  Not the top of the roller coaster kind where your stomach is in your throat.  No, not that variety.  I am leaning more towards the WHOOSH-RELEASE OF ENDORPHINS  that comes from great quality products at killer low-end prices. Part of my calling aside from teaching and shaping young lives and running a designing business is getting these deals out for everyone to appreciate. No, I'm not the coupon binder lady.  I tried that gig.  Whew. Long story.  Let's just say when you're more interested in the color of your coupon binder and the coordinating tabs than you are the actual coupons, you most likely won't be saving your family any money.  Mmmkay?

I'm sticking to the kinda cheap I like. Who really needs Frosted Flakes at $.25 a box when you can have a cute pair of shoes with that quarter? Today I am coming at you with my secret cheap perfume.

The story goes like this:

I'm not afraid to talk to strangers.  Walking up to a person I do not know does not freak me out. I look at people as resources of knowledge.  We're all like walking encyclopedias of pages filled with our own kinda smarts.  I love gleaning from other people's smarts.  To quote Rosco P. Coltrane from the Dukes of Hazzard, "Ooh, I love it. I love it. I love it." Hence when someone around me smells good, looks good, is good, I am typically the first to let them know.  I also have an issue with personal space, FYI.  In that, if I like something, I move towards it.  I don't even realize I do this. Thus, I am the one 3 inches from the stranger handing them a compliment.  And yet, I have no idea where people get off calling me crazy. It's not like I have googly eyes when I tell them at a nose length from their person.  I mean, what gives?

On 3 separate occasions at 3 separate stores and with 3 separate ladies, I was bamboozled/hypnotized by their smell.  And you guessed it, like velcro, I was all up on them. Each time I asked what they were wearing, below was their response:

Jovan Musk.  NOT THE SPRAY.  The oil.  Each lady was VERY clear on this specific detail.  They reported that the spray made you smell cheap, but the oil was the real deal holyfield.  After 3 encounters with this Siren-esque scent, my game was on.

What does it smell like?

Heaven.  Soft cuddly, deep wafts of golden happy.  Yep, that pretty much sums it up.

Where can you find this musk?

Any drug store.  I purchased mine at Wal-Mart.

How much does it cost?

$13.00

Where do you apply it?

My neck and my wrists.

How does long does it last?

About 6 months for me, but I don't wear it everyday.

How long does the scent stay on your person?

It has longevity.  It's musky, so it hides when you think it's no longer there.  I have people coming to me now asking me what I am wearing just like I did to those ladies.  If I don't wash a cardigan and I go to put it on for a 2nd wearing, the scent is still very present on the cuffs of the sleeves and the neck line from where I wore the musk prior.  It's that kinda killer awesome-tastic.  It's not potent or loud. It's subtle and freakishly divine.

Siren-esque I tell you.

There you have it.  If you're a local and you wanna smell me, well consider your nose officially invited.  Remember me and personal space?  It ain't no thang.  If you're interested in purchasing this secret aroma of the goddesses, go for it!  I promise you will not regret it. Shoot me an email and tell me how you like it.  {meghan@kmaccreations.com}  Kinda curious about trying it, but don't want to shell out the $13 just yet?  Well, today is your lucky day. LEAVE A COMMENT on this post and you are officially entered to win your very own bottle compliments of k.Mac's Cheap Thrills Thursday.  Winner will be announced Monday, March 24th here on the blog. I mean why would you not trust the opinion of a lady with personal space issues who's desperately devoted to cheap thrills?

Happy SPRING, peeps!
