{bring burgundy back}

bring back burgundy Ugh.  The word.  I can't even spell it correctly without 2 Tylenol & a glass of water.  Why in.the.world do I want it to house an "a" where the 2nd "u" belongs?  This snafu is one that involves an internal chastising to the 4th grade spelling bee rUnNeR-uP that I am.  "U", Meghan.  IT.IS.A.U.

It's Cheap Thrills Thursday and I am back on the scene.  I was gone, you know.  Seriously.  I was.  October was one glorious hosting of guest models on my front porch of frugal fashion. Tell me you didn't miss it?

I was honored to have 4 beauties volunteer to take k.Mac's GW3 Challenge.  This challenge involved shopping with me to find a minimum of 3 items from Goodwill and create as many Fall outfits possible to encourage the look for less. It was so much fun shopping for their body styles and personalities.  Yes, October was full of guest fashions not to mention guest authors as k.Mac hosted a 31 Day Celebration of Wardrobe & Words.  Such good, good stuff I tell you.

And now here I am.  I'm gonna go on ahead and twist the words of my homegirl, Meghan Trainor here:  "I'm bringing burgundy baaaaack."

bugundy 1

Yeah, I am.  You want truth? It's a color I absolutely loathe.  I feel all kinds of Granny when I wear it.  But I've talked myself through the hue I cannot spell to save my life and I've decided that I can do this.  Only.  And I repeat ONLY because it makes one rockstar add-in color to bounce against other spectacular hues like MUSTARD & NAVY!

Because when you find a Banana Republic navy gingham 3/4 length sleeves button up for $2.25 at Goodwill...well, Meghan Trainor,  you go on ahead and tell'em:
